The property underwent an $18 million renovation in 1981 to create the luxurious Campton Place Hotel, paring 200 rooms to 126 rooms and suites. Purchased by Southbourne, Inc. in 1992, the company completed a $5.4 million renovation in 1995, further reducing the room count to 117 to accommodate new meeting facilities. In 2001, after the completion of a $15 million renovation, Campton Place Hotel will stylishly usher in the millennium.
